- About Bedrock City
Richard Evans opened his first Bedrock City Comics store in March, 1990. Bedrock City has since become the region's premier comics shop with the addition of three more premium comic book stores. Richard is a special advisor to the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide and a past president of the American Association of Comic Book Collectors. He's purchased and sold some of the most important and treasured Golden Age comics, Silver Age comics and Bronze Age comics. Not bad for a Houston kid who figured Bill Everett just might be the reincarnation of Rembrandt.
Providing a fun and enjoyable shopping experience has always been first and foremost to the crew at Bedrock City. Whether you shop at one of our stores or visit us online, you will always receive personal service from our super-friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable staff.
Here at our new and improved corner of the web, we'll be bringing the wall-to-wall wonders found in our all of our stores directly to you online. "Whadda-ya-got besides funnybooks?" you ask. Does the Louvre only house works by Da Vinci? While comic books are our specialty, you'll also find action figures, apparel, graphic novels, and limited edition figurines. And, we've got mountains of movie posters, trading cards, underground comix, and pop culture specialties beyond imagining. Having hosted signings by industry giants like Jim Lee, Bernie Wrightson, and the late, great Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, Bedrock City Comics goes all-out to keep you hip to groovy comic events.
So, welcome to Bedrock City Comic Co. We look forward to seeing you for many years to come!
